The Safety Experience at Safe Kids Day
Safe Kids Worldwide is a nonprofit organization working to reduce unintentional injuries to children and build sustainable systems that support injury prevention. Nationwide partnered with them during their annual Safe Kids Day to help spread awareness.
The Safety Experience was an interactive mobile unit that highlighted potential dangers in and around the home. Before entering, each visitor was given an iPad to guide their experience.
Each room was curated to simulate a typical home. Visitors stopped at specific locations marked on the floor. This activated the AR features of the iPad.
The iPad functions as a window into an enhanced environment, overlaid with digital information revealing dangers invisible to the naked eye, and offering insights, warnings, and preventive measures.
