Hewlett Packard Enterprise Employee Value Proposition
Following their corporate culture transformation, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) recognized the need to develop an employee value proposition (EVP) that would attract and retain talent in line with who they are and what they hoped to achieve. Through deep discovery, we created an authentic, succinct, and bold EVP that was grounded in the new culture including a core idea, messaging, and talent brand expression .
Territory
The new EVP focused on the territory of belonging—with inclusivity and self-fulfillment as strong foundations. The aim was to show current and potential team members that HPE is a place they can feel comfortable to be themselves; a place that is welcoming, accepting, and encouraging of the differences that make each of us unique.
Central Idea
The core idea was “You Belong Here.” It’s a promise that HPE is a place that is inclusive, diverse, and welcomes all that you are.
EVP Expression
We helped bring the EVP to life with practical, hands-on guidance. We worked through the visual and messaging elements that would make the EVP really pop—from figuring out the right look and feel to nailing the language that would speak to ideal candidates. We walked through how to write headlines and gave examples of how to pull together everything from posters and banners to career site content. And because consistency is key, we put together talent EVP guidelines so the internal HPE team had a go-to resource for keeping everything on-brand as they rolled this out across their recruitment efforts.
